José Alberto da Silva Freitas is the Principal Investigator of the 2D4H research group, Thematic Line 3 of CINTESIS.
He graduated in Applied Mathematics and earned his Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the area of Industrial Informatics from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), and his Doctoral Degree in Business Sciences from the Faculty of Economics of the same university (FEP).
He is the Director of the Master Course in Medical Informatics and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Community Medicine, Health Information and Decision of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. He also integrates the Project NanoSTIMA – Macro-to-Nano Human Sensing: Towards Integrated Multimodal Health Monitoring and Analytics.
