Ana Carina Pereira is an integrated researcher of the iGO Group, TL2 – Clinical and Translational Research.
Ana Carina Martins holds a Master Degree in Molecular Medicine and Oncology from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) and a Doctoral Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS).
She is the author of several scientific articles and has participated in five research projects, all linked to the Oncology area.
Currently, she works as a postdoctoral fellow at CINTESIS, in the Molecular Oncology and Viral Pathology Group of the Research Centre of the Portuguese Oncology Institute of Porto (IPO-Porto). She is involved in the project “Comprehensive analysis of common genetic variants on inflammatory genes in gastric cancer: from bench to bedside “.
