Ana Cristina Spínola is an integrated researcher of the NursID group, of the Thematic Line 1 – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges of CINTESIS.

She earned her Doctorate Degree in Nursing from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS) in 2014 with the thesis “O Estudante de Enfermagem no Processo de Cuidados em Contexto de Ensino Clínico” (The Nursing Student in the Care Process in Clinical Teaching Context); and holds a Master Degree in Education Sciences. She worked as a Specialist Nurse from 1993 to 2000 when she began working as a Professor.

Ana Cristina Spínola is an Assistant Professor of the Health School of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarem and a Principal Investigator in the field of Conceptions and Competencies of Nursing Students.
