Andreia Sofia da Costa Teixeira is an integrated member of the BioData research group of CINTESIS.

In 2012, she earned her Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Porto, where she had previously completed her Master Degree in Computer Science and her Degree in Mathematics.

She has been teaching at several educational institutions, namely at the Higher Institute of Administration and Management and the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo.

She currently integrates the team of researchers of NanoSTIMA – Macro-to-Nano Human Sensing: Towards Integrated Multimodal Health Monitoring and Analytics, a project funded by the N2020. As a researcher, her areas of interest include Statistics, Probability, Cryptography and Health.
