Bárbara Antunes, a CINTESIS researcher, is working on a project that aims to measure and evaluate the needs of patients in palliative care in the National Health System. The goal is to understand better the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patients, to act as soon as possible to try to diminish these patients’ and their families’ suffering.
