Armando Cardoso is an integrated member of the Research Group NeuroGen of CINTESIS.

He earned his Doctorate in Neurosciences from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) in 2011; graduated in Biology at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP) in 2002, and is currently an Assistant Professor at FMUP.

He is the chair of the curricular unit Anatomy I of the Integrated Master in Dental Medicine of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Porto. His scientific activity focuses on the field of Neurosciences, and he has authored near twenty scientific articles.
