Acute Bronchiolitis looks a lot like a common cold. However, as the illness progresses, the person presents worsening respiratory distress and fatigue.
In an interview to Canal S+, Manuel Gonçalves Pinho, from CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research, reveals that this pathology is responsible for 25% of the hospitalizations of children under 2 years of age and that each hospitalization has an average cost of 900€.
