Catarina Rosa is an integrated researcher of the AgeingC Group, Thematic Line 1 – Preventive Medicine and Societal Challenges, of CINTESIS.
She graduated in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Coimbra, completed her postgraduate studies in Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Education and Psychology of the University of Minho, and earned her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology of the University of Minho with a studentship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). Since 2013, she is a post-doctoral fellow of the FCT working at the Department of Education and Psychology of the University of Aveiro.
Catarina Rosa worked as Guest Assistant Professor of the University of Evora and as a researcher she has participated in national projects funded by FCT and has published scientific articles and book chapters. Her main research interests arise from clinical practice, having developed studies about identity strategies management. She is currently dedicated to the study of rumination, a process associated with the development of common mental disorders.
She is a member of the Portuguese Society of Family Therapy, of the Portuguese Society of Suicidology and of the Society for Psychotherapy Research.
