CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research is part of the international study “Stress and emotional profile of health professionals and non-medical professionals during the COVID-19 crisis.”

The study is already in development in several countries, under the leadership of the General Internal Medicine and Psychosomatics Clinic of the University of Heidelberg (Germany) and coordinated by Schultz Jobst-Hendrik. The Portuguese researchers are responsible for disseminating it in our country.

“We are investigating the extent to which professionals are emotionally overwhelmed by the current situation,” explains Oscar Ribeiro, a researcher at CINTESIS / University of Aveiro (CINTESIS.UA). The results should be used to develop specific psychosocial support measures for healthcare workers (medical and non-medical personnel).

Health professionals who wish to participate voluntarily in this study must answer an online questionnaire, which will take about 15 minutes to complete. The data will be evaluated anonymously and confidentially, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The Portuguese version of the questionnaire is available here.
