Cláudia Marques is an integrated researcher of the ProNutri group, Thematic Line 1 – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges of CINTESIS.

She earned her Doctoral Degree in Biomedicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) in 2018, after completing her graduate Degree at the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Science of the University of Porto (FCNAUP) in 2010.

She has participated as a researcher in several projects, such as the “VINOFLAVO – Red wine flavonoids: bioavailability and biological properties”, under the supervision of Conceição Calhau. She worked as a Guest Assistant Professor at FCNAUP and as a Volunteer Professor at FMUP.

Cláudia Marques has published more than 15 scientific articles and has several awards. One of the most important is the Milupa 2017, a prize awarded by the Portuguese Society of Neonatology/Portuguese Society of Paediatrics.

Currently, she develops her research activity within CINTESIS, at the NOVA Medical School of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Nova University of Lisbon.
