Cristina Moura is an integrated researcher of the NursID Group, Thematic Line 1 – Preventive Medicine and Societal Challenges of CINTESIS.

She is a Specialist in Community Nursing with many years of practice in the exercise of the profession at the District Hospital of Chaves (1984-2001), and in collaborations with health institutions, schools of the Municipality of Chaves, associations, the education community and the community in general. She has developed community projects to support children at risk, promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent risk behaviors, support people with disabilities, support to elderly, and school health.

Cristina Moura earned her Master and Doctoral Degrees in Nursing Sciences from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto and since 2001, works as Adjunct Professor at the Higher School of Nursing Dr. José Timóteo Montalvão Machado. As a researcher she has studied different topics among which one of the most important is the Hemodialysis Care.
