Elisabete Ricardo is an integrated researcher of the MicroMed group, Thematic Line 2 – Clinical and Translational Research of CINTESIS.

She earned her Doctoral Degree in Biomedicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) in 2015, completed her Master Degree in Microbiology at the same faculty in 2008 and obtained her Degree in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP) in 2004.

Currently, she is a researcher in Microbiology and a Volunteer Professor at FMUP. Her main areas of research include Microbiology, Mycology and Infectious Diseases.
