Emília da Conceição Torres Dias Moreira is an integrated member of the CardioCare research group of CINTESIS.

She earned her Doctoral Degree in Gerontology and Geriatrics from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto (ICBAS-UP) in 2015, and her Master Degree in Public Health from the Faculty of Medicine and the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto in 2010. Previously, she had graduated in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto.

She was a Doctoral Fellow within the project “Cognitive Alterations after Ischemic Accidents” and a research grantee of the project “Long Term Prognosis of Neurological Accidents”, both funded by the FCT. She was a collaborator of the Psychology Center of the University of Porto (CPUP) and of the Unit for Research and Training of Adults and Elderly, and integrated in several research projects.

Currently, she is an Assistant Researcher at the University of Porto, working in the project Symbiotic technology for societal efficiency gains: Deus Ex Machina (DeM).
