Fátima Araújo is an integrated member of the NursID Group of CINTESIS, based at the ESEP hub.

She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Porto and a Master Degree in Public Health from the same university. She specialized in Public Health Nursing at the Nursing School of Porto, and has worked at the Hospital of Santo António and at the Hospital of São João. She has complementary training in the fields of Intervention Studies (Clinical Trials), Social Epidemiology, Epidemiological Research, and Statistical Data Analysis.

Part of her research activities are focused on the currently ongoing project “Prevention of falls in the elderly population in a community context”.

She is an Adjunct Professor at ESEP.
