Fernanda Príncipe is an integrated member of the research group Tech4edusim – Technologies for Education and Simulation in Healthcare, at CINTESIS.

She holds a Nursing Degree from the Calouste Gulbenkian School of Nursing, a Master in Administration and Planning of Education from the University Portucalense Infante Dom Henrique, and a PhD in Nursing Sciences from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto, which she defended in 2018 with the thesis “Contributions of participatory action research in the transformation of a nursing school in a health-promoting context”. She has worked as a nurse at the University Hospital Center of São João and as a professor at the Santa Maria School of Nursing and the Cooperative of Polytechnic and University Higher Education.

Currently, she works as coordinating professor at the Northern Red Cross Portuguese Health School.
