Filipa Daniela Correia Marques is an integrated researcher of the AgeingC group of CINTESIS.
She graduated in Gerontology from the Health School of the University of Aveiro, and completed in 2013, the Doctoral Programme in Gerontology and Geriatrics, developed in partnership with the University of Aveiro (UA) and the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto (ICBAS-UP).
She has worked as a reviewer of national and international peer-reviewed journals and was a member of the team that evaluated and reported on the Graduate Course in Social Gerontology of the UA in the framework of A3Es Accreditation process.
Filipa Marques is a Guest Adjunct Professor at the Higher School of Education of Coimbra (ESEC –IPC in Portuguese), where she is the coordinator of the Master in Social Gerontology and responsible for several curricular units.
Currently, she is a researcher of the project AgeNortC – Ageing, Social Participation and Early Detection of Dependence: Training for the Fourth Age; financed by Portugal 2020. She has several articles and book chapters published in her main fields of work and research.
