José Ignácio Guinaldo Martin is an integrated member of the GeriMHealth research group of CINTESIS, working at the University of Aveiro.

He began his academic path at the University of Salamanca where he graduated in Psychology. Later, he earned his Doctoral Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Porto.

Ignácio Martin has authored several books, book chapters and scientific articles in his main research areas, including Dementia.
