Fernanda Inês Ribeiro Vaz is a researcher of the HIS-EHR research group of CINTESIS.

She graduated in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto and holds a Master Degree in Public Health. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Research and Health Services from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto with a thesis “Using Information Systems in Pharmacovigilance. Promotion of Adverse Drug Reaction Reporting “.

She was a consultant of the Associação Nacional das Farmácias – ANF (National Association of Pharmacies).

Currently, she works at the Pharmacovigilance Unit of Porto/FMUP, carrying out research in the field of pharmacovigilance and drug safety.
