Isabel Araújo is an integrated member of the research group NursID at CINTESIS.

She earned a Doctorate in Nursing Sciences from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the Univeristy of Porto in 2010. She has a Master in Education, a Specialization in Health Education and a Degree in Nursing. She has several scientific articles published in national and international indexed journals in the field of Nursing Sciences and Education. She is also reviewer of scientific journals. She is a member of IINFACTS – Institute for Research and Advanced Training in Health Sciences and Technology.

Currently, she works as a professor and is the director of the Department of Health Sciences of the School of Health of Vale do Ave (ESSVA)/CESPU – Polytechnic Institute of Health of the North.
