Jorge Spratley is an integrated member of the research group PaCeIT – Patient Centered Innovation and Technologies at CINTESIS.

He graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) in 1982 and earned his doctorate in Medicine from the same faculty in 2004.

He is guest associate professor of the Department of Surgery and Physiology of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, doctor of the Otorhinolaryngology Service of the University Hospital Center of São João and researcher of the project DyNaVoiceR, supported by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). He is a member of several medical associations and author of many papers published in national and international journals. He was elected president of the Portuguese Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (SPORL-CCP) for the 2019-2022 term.
