Lara Guedes de Pinho is an integrated member of the research group NursID at CINTESIS.

She graduated in Nursing from the School of Health of Guarda in 2006. Later, she completed a postgraduate programme in Emergency and Catastrophe Nursing and a Specialization Programme in Mental and Psychiatric Health Nursing. These were followed by a Master in Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Aveiro, in 2013, and a Doctorate in Psychology from the same institution, in 2018, with the thesis “Quality of Life in Schizophrenia: contributions to the paradigm shift”.

She was responsible for the Continuing Quality Improvement Project “Aderir para não recair”  (Adherence to avoid relapse) and worked as facilitator of the Continuing Quality Improvement Project of Nursing Care “Relaxarte”, both in the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health of the Hospital Center of Baixo Vouga, EPE. She is currently a PhD student of the Doctoral Programme in Nursing and Health at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Spain, and a specialist nurse in Mental Health and Psychiatry at the Regional Health Administration of the Center.
