Liliana Mota is an integrated member of the research group Tech4edusim at CINTESIS.

She graduated in Nursing from the Nursing School of Porto (ESEP) in 2004. She then continued to completing a Master in Medical Informatics at the University of Porto in 2010, and a Postgraduate and Master Programmes in Medical-Surgical Nursing in ESEP in 2010 and 2011, respectively. In 2018, she earned her PhD in Nursing Sciences from the University of Porto with the thesis “The person undergoing liver transplantation: a nursing follow-up model”. She has worked as a specialist nurse at the Hospital Center of Porto as member of the Counselling Board of the Liver and Pancreatic Transplantation Unit, as well as an assistant at ESEP.

She is an assistant professor at the Northern Red Cross Portuguese Health School and member of the General Assembly of the Portuguese Society of Oncology Nursing (SPEO).
