Luísa Andrade is a researcher of the NursID group, integrated in the Thematic Line 1 – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges of CINTESIS.

She earned her Doctorate, in 2016, from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS), with the thesis “Luzes e sombras em famílias de gémeos” (Lights and Shadows in families with twins). She graduated in Nursing from the Nursing School of Porto and completed her Master in Nursing Sciences and Pediatrics at the University of Porto.

Luísa Andrade has published several articles in specialized journals. In collaboration with collegues, she has authored three books: “Transferibilidade de conhecimento em Enfermagem de Família” (Transferability of knowledge in Family Nursing), “Redes de conhecimento em Enfermagem de Família” (Knowledge Networks in Family Nursing) and “Da investigação à prática de enfermagem de família” (From research to family nursing practice).

Currently, she works as an Assistant Professor at the Nursing School of Porto.
