Research work carried out by CINTESIS investigators continues setting the media agenda. Following the publication of INFARMED’s newsletter which drew attention to a scientific article from our R&D Unit reporting on the existence of more than 220,000 adverse reactions to drugs in 15 years, Lusa reported the news emphasizing the results.
The study is authored by Bernardo Sousa-Pinto, Bernardo Marques, Fernando Lopes and Alberto Freitas and warns that the underreporting of adverse drug reactions in Portugal is a significant and worrying reality.
