A scientific study shows that orthopedic vests “do not appear to have any advantages” in the treatment of spine fractures.
Daniela Linhares, from CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), explained to Agência LUSA the main results of this work, which have already been published in the scientific journal “Spine”.
