Manuel Fontoura is an integrated researcher of the ProNutri group, Thematic Line 1 – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges of CINTESIS.
He graduated in Medicine and has a Doctoral Degree in Paediatrics. He is a Guest Associate Professor of the Department of Gynaecology-Obstetrics and Paediatrics of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), the Director of the Medical Paediatrics Service of the Hospital Centre of São João, and works at the Hospital CUF Porto.
He is a Specialist in Paediatric Endocrinology, a field in which he is well published. Manuel Fontoura is also a member of the Portuguese Society of Paediatrics and of the Society of Paediatric Endocrinology.
