Margarida Lima Sobral is an integrated member of the AgeingC research group of CINTESIS.
She graduated in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, earned her Master Degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra, and completed her doctorate studies in Gerontology and Geriatrics at the ICBAS-UP and UA.
She works as a Clinical Psychologist at the Psychogeriatric Service of the Magalhães Lemos Hospital in Porto. She is a trainer in the area of Ageing and Psychogeriatrics, and is currently coordinating a post-graduate course in Clinical Intervention in Psycho-pathology. At the same time, she develops her research activity in the fields of Evaluation and intervention with older people, Cognitive reserve and Dementias.
