Maria José Nogueira is an integrated researcher of the NursID group, Thematic Line 1 – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges of CINTESIS.
She graduated in Nursing and specialised in Mental Health and Psychiatry Nursing in 2011. Six years later, she earned her Doctoral Degree in Nursing from the University of Lisbon and the Nursing School of Lisbon.
Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the ESSATLA Health School, member of the Editorial Council of the Nursing & Healthcare International Journal (NHIJ) since 2017, and coordinator of the project Promoção da Saúde Mental em Estudantes do Ensino Superior (Promotion of Mental Health in Higher Education Students), at the CESOB of the Universidade Atlântica. She has authored several research works in the fields of Psychological Vulnerability, Mental Health Promotion and Positive Mental Health. She also participates in the multicentre research project Literacia, Primeira Ajuda e Saúde Mental Positiva – SM+Literacia (Literacy, First Aid and Positive Mental Health).
