Maria da Piedade Brandão is an integrated member of the AgeingC research group of CINTESIS.

She is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Aveiro, where she also earned her Doctorate Degree in the field of ​​Health Epidemiology of IUniversity Students.

She holds a Master Degree in Public Health from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto and a Graduate Degree in Education Sciences from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the same University. She has developed her research activity in several areas, including Ageing.
