Oscar Ribeiro is the principal investigator of the AgeingC research group of CINTESIS.

He earned his Doctoral Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto (ICBAS-UP) and his Graduate Degree in Psychology from the University of Minho. Currently, he works as Assistant Professor at the Department of Education and Psychology of the University of Aveiro and is the director of the Doctoral Program in Gerontology and Geriatrics of ICBAS and the University of Aveiro.

Óscar Ribeiro is currently the leader of the project PT100 – Estudo dos Centenários do Porto (Oporto Centenarian Study).
