Pedro Pereira Rodrigues is the Principal Investigator of the TL3 – Health Data and Decision Sciences & Information Technologies, and an integrated member of the AI4Health research group.
He graduated in Computer Sciences from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP) and earned his Doctoral Degree in same field and from the same institution in 2010.
He began his career as a researcher at INESC TEC’s Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support (LIAAD) in 2004, maintaining the collaboration until the present. In 2008, he was invited to join the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), where he is now an Assistant Professor at the Department of Community Medicine, Health Information and Decision (MEDCIDS).
His research focuses on networks applications in clinical research and in support to decision making, and on data flow analysis. He has participated in 7 national and 5 international research projects, having published numerous articles in indexed journals, several book chapters and more than thirty papers in indexed conference procedures.
