Pedro Manuel Vieira Marques is an integrated researcher of Tech4edusim, a CINTESIS research group.
He earned a Degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto in 2001, and a Master Degree in Informatics (Systems and Networks branch) from the same university in 2004. He completed his doctoral studies in Computer Engineering at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2014. Pedro Marques has participated in several projects, currently integrating the teams of ActiveAdvice – Decision Support Solutions for Independent Living using an Intelligent AAL Product and Service Cloud; and NanoSTIMA – Macro-to-Nano Human Sensing – Towards Integrated Multimodal Health Monitoring and Analytics and Simprove – The biomedical simulation center of the future.
He is a specialist in Informatics at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto and the author of several scientific articles in areas related to interoperability and data integration in health information systems.
