Público interviewed the CINTESIS researcher and professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) Paulo Santos, who defended new criteria to define the risk of COVID-19 infection in different countries. Clinical severity should be one of the criteria to be adopted.

The researcher also talked about what went wrong. In his opinion, “it has to do mainly with erratic speech and it has a lot to do with this phase of lack of definition”.
