Ricardo Marcos-Pinto is a member of the research group iGO – Thematic Line 2 – Clinical and Translational Research.
He graduated in Medicine from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto (ICBAS-UP), and finished his doctoral studies in Medical Sciences at the same institution with the thesis entitled “Characterization of a population with an increased risk of gastric cancer: first degree relatives of early-onset gastric carcinoma patients”.
He has published near 40 scientific articles and is the Chief Executive Officer and cofounder of Glyco4Clinics – a start-up dedicated to research and development activities (R&D) applied to the clinical practice.
