Acácio Rodrigues, principal investigator of the research group MicroMed – Medical Microbiology, of CINTESIS, was invited to comment on the most recent outbreak of legionella in Portugal.
In an interview with RTP, the specialist in Microbiology draws attention to the complexity, capacity of proliferation and resistance of this bacterium – which he has been studying for more than 30 years.
