Researcher Manuel Gonçalves Pinho, from CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), was at RTP to explain the results of his study on the effects of cannabis use.
According to this study, hospitalizations due to psychotic breakdown or schizophrenia in patients who have recorded cannabis use increased almost 30-fold over the course of fifteen years in Portugal.
