Sandra Mouta is an integrated researcher of the AgeingC research group, Thematic Line 1 – Preventive Health and Societal Challenges of CINTESIS.

In 2009, she earned her doctorate degree from the Institute of Education and Psychology of the University of Minho, where she began her academic career. In 2006, she had already completed a Specialization at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Minho.

Sandra Mouta was the leader researcher of the PIU unit (Perception, Interaction and Usability) of the CCG – Centre of Graphic Computation from 2014 to 2016, and as a post-doctoral fellow she also worked at the INESC TEC and at the University of Barcelona, where she was involved in the implementation and validation of new technology. She has collaborated with the Centre Algoritmi of the University of Minho and has participated in several projects.

Currently, she is developing her professional activity at the Order of São Francisco, in Porto, where she is responsible for the area of innovation and strategic projects, besides also working as an evaluator of national and international programs, being a specialist in “fundraising” and trainer in UX/UI design and usability methods.
