Sérgio Manuel Moreira Sampaio is an integrated researcher of the EvidenS&HTA group of CINTESIS.

He graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), and and holds a Doctorate from the same institution. He is a specialist in Vascular Surgery, a Fellow of the European Board of Vascular Surgery and a Guest Assistant Professor at the Department of Community Medicine, Health Information and Decision (MEDCIDS) of FMUP. He is also a professor of the Doctoral Program in Clinical Research and in Health Services (PDICSS).

Sergio Sampaio is a member of several scientific and professional associations, namely the Portuguese Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery, the Portuguese Society of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, the European Society for Vascular Surgery and the Mayo Clinic Alumni Association.
