Teresa Martins is an integrated member of the research group NursID of CINTESIS, based at the Nursing School of Porto (ESEP), where she is currently Coordinating Professor.
She completed her Doctorate in Psychology at the University of Porto in 2004, and the Master in Public Health at the University of Coimbra in 1996. She specialized in Public Health Nursing at the Nursing School of Porto.
During her career, she has worked as a nurse at the Hospital Center of Porto and at the Hospital of São João. She has published several books, book chapters, and scientific articles
