Legionella continues to claim victims in the north of the country and is worrying the population in the most affected areas.
Acácio Rodrigues, researcher at CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research and professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), spoke with TVI about the importance of identifying the focus of this infection.
According to the specialist, it is necessary to analyze buildings, public equipment, water distribution networks, among other infrastructures, in order to detect the origin of this serious and potentially deadly infection.
