O CINTESIS – Centro de Investigação em Tecnologias e Serviços de Saúde apoia o “2nd NMS Symposium on Chronic Diseases and Translational Science 2018”, que irá decorrer nos dias 18 e 19 de outubro, no CEDOC – Chronic Diseases Research Center /NOVA Medical School, em Lisboa. Diogo Pestana, investigador do CINTESIS, integra a Comissão Organizadora.
O objetivo do Simpósio é “servir como catalisador do desenvolvimento da investigação na área do envelhecimento e doenças crónicas em Portugal com impacto a nível internacional”. Pretende-se também que esta segunda edição seja uma interface de ligação entre a investigação em doenças crónicas e a ciência de translação.
O evento irá juntar jovens investigadores com especialistas e líderes nas suas áreas, provenientes de todo o país e do continente Europeu, esperando-se “um ambiente estimulante” para a partilha de perspetivas e criação de novas ideias.

CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research supports the “2nd NMS Symposium on Chronic Diseases and Translational Science 2018” that will take place on October 18 and 19 at the CEDOC – Chronic Diseases Research Center /NOVA Medical School, in Lisbon. Diogo Pestana, a CINTESIS researcher is a member of the Organizing Committee.
The objective of the Symposium is “to serve as a catalyst for the development of research in the area of Ageing and Chronic Diseases in Portugal with an international impact”. It is also intended that this second edition works as a link between research on Chronic Diseases and the Science of Translation.
The event will bring together young researchers, experts and leaders in their fields, from all over the country and from the European continent, hoping for a “stimulating environment” for sharing perspectives and creating new ideas.
