O CINTESIS – Centro de Investigação em Tecnologias e Serviços de Saúde vai premiar o melhor projeto apresentado a concurso no próximo Congresso Nacional de Estudantes de Medicina (CNEM), que se realizará nos dias 16 e 17 de novembro, no ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa e na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa (FMUL).

Juntando mais de 500 alunos, 33 oradores e 22 formadores, o CNEM pretende constituir-se como um complemento à formação dos futuros médicos através de uma abordagem multidisciplinar, transversal e inovadora.

Além de conferências sobre temas como os percursos médicos possíveis, a humanização dos cuidados, as experiências internacionais e a complexidade do SNS e de workshops em áreas como a inteligência artificial, o erro médico e a eutanásia, o programa inclui o CNEM Pitch, “um momento pensado para dar voz ao empreendedorismo e à visão dos estudantes de medicina”.

Nesta sexta edição do evento, o CINTESIS volta a apoiar o CNEM Pitch, que será dedicado à construção do “Hospital do Futuro”. Os concorrentes terão três minutos para apresentar as suas ideias ou projetos ao público e ao júri, num formato semelhante ao do “shark tank”.

O projeto que ficar em primeiro lugar irá receber dois mil euros em serviços do CINTESIS para desenvolver a ideia vencedora e um estágio nos Serviços Partilhados do Ministério da Saúde (SPMS). O segundo prémio tem o patrocínio da Pfizer.

A comissão organizadora do CNEM é coordenada por Catarina Ferreira Nunes e José Sobral Abrantes, sendo a comissão de honra composta por várias personalidades, entre as quais Rui Nunes, investigador integrado do CINTESIS e docente da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto.

CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research will award the best project presented to the competition at the next National Congress of Medical Students (CNEM), which will take place on November 16 and 17, at ISCTE – Lisbon University Institute and at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMUL).

The CNEM  brings together more than 500 students, 33 speakers, and 22 trainers, aiming to be a complement to the training of future doctors through a multidisciplinary, transversal, and innovative approach.

In addition to conferences on topics such as possible medical pathways, humanization of care, international experiences and complexity of the Portuguese NHS, and workshops in areas such as artificial intelligence, medical error and euthanasia, the program includes the CNEM Pitch, “a moment thought to give voice to entrepreneurship and the vision of medical students.”

In this sixth edition of the event, CINTESIS will once again support the CNEM Pitch, which will be dedicated to the construction of the “Hospital do Futuro”.  The competitors will have three minutes to present their ideas or projects to the public and the jury, using a format similar to the Shark Tank.

The winning project will receive two thousand euros in services from CINTESIS to develop their idea, plus an internship in the Ministry of Health’s Shared Services (SPMS). The second prize is sponsored by Pfizer.

The organizing committee of CNEM is coordinated by Catarina Ferreira Nunes and José Sobral Abrantes, and the honor committee is composed of several personalities, including Rui Nunes, an integrated researcher of CINTESIS and professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto.
