Sara Monteiro is an integrated researcher of the AgeingC group, Thematic Line 1 – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges of CINTESIS.
She earned her Doctoral Degree from the University of Aveiro (UA), her Master Degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Lisbon, and her Graduate Degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of Coimbra. Also, she is a specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology and in Education Psychology accredited by the Portuguese Order of Psychologists.
Currently, she works as Guest Assistant Professor at the University of Aveiro, where she teaches several curricular units of the Graduate Degree in Psychology and of the Master in Clinical and Health Psychology. She supervises academic professional internships in different institutions, as well as Master and Doctorate dissertations.
Sara Monteiro has published several scientific articles in national and international specialised journals, has authored many books, and is an associate editor of the journal Psychology, Community & Health.
