Goreti Marques is an integrated researcher of the NursID group, Thematic Line 1 – Preventive Medicine and Societal Challenges of CINTESIS.
She graduated in Nursing from the Jean Piaget Higher School of Nursing of Viseu in 2001, completed her Master in Management and Direction of Health Services at the Catholic University of Portugal (Viseu Regional Centre) in 2005, and earned her Doctoral Degree in Nursing from the Institute of Health Sciences of the Catholic University of Portugal (Porto), in 2016. She is currently working as a post-doctoral fellow.
She worked as a Nurse in different health institutions (Health Centre of Castro Daire, Hospital of São Teotónio, Paediatric Hospital of Coimbra and IPO of Porto). In 2017, she published the book “O Impacto da Doença Oncológica da Criança na Família” (Impact of Children Oncologic Disease in the Family, Afrontamento Publisher), a field in which area em que tem investigado. She also working as an Adjunct Professor at the Higher School of Health of Santa Maria.
