Júlia Martinho is an integrated member of the NursID Group of CINTESIS, based at the Nursing School of Porto (ESEP), where she is currently is an Associate Professor.
In 2013, she completed her Doctorate in Nursing Sciences at the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences, where she had previously earned a Master Degree. During her undergraduate studies, she attended the Course in Advanced Studies in Mental Health Nursing at the Nursing School Ana Guedes. She is a member of The International Family Nursing Association and of the Portuguese Society of Mental Health Nursing.
In 2012, she received the “Heart of Silver” in recognition for her services provided over 10 years at ESEP.
