Carlos Manuel da Silva Martins is the principal investigator of the CINTESIS research group Health for All.
He graduated in Medicine from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS) and earned his Doctorate in Clinical Research and Health Services from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. He is a General and Family Medicine Doctor since 2003.
Carlos Martins is an assistant professor at the Department of Community Medicine, Health Information and Decision (MEDCIDS) of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, and is responsible for several Continuing Education Courses such as Evidence-Based Preventive Medicine, Systematic Review and Meta-analysis in General and Family Medicine and Information Science & Health. He is also engaged in health promotion and online prevention of disease, and is the Webmaster of the platforms MGFamilair and Dr. Share.
