Ana Ramôa Castro is an integrated researcher of the research group Health for All, Research Line TL1 – Preventive Medicine & Societal Challenges.
She earned her Doctorate in Physical Activity and Health from the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto (2016), in the framework of the financed project “Cardiometabolic Risk Factors, inflammation as Cardiovascular Risk: influence of Physical Activity”. Previously, she has earned her Degree in Medicine from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS).
Ana Ramôa Castro is a general and family doctor at the Family Health Unit of Espaço Saúde – ACeS Porto Ocidental (Health Centers Cluster of Western Porto), where she completed her complementary internship. Since 2017, she works as general and family doctor at the Institute Cuf Porto and is the spokesperson of the ACeS Porto Ocidental for the implementation of the Program for the Promotion of Physical Activity. She has several publications in her main research areas.
