Carlos Fernandes da Silva, CINTESIS psychologist and researcher, was one of the scientists heard by the jornal Observador in the context of a news report on the study of anomalus phenomena.
The specialist, who is also professor at the University of Aveiro, defended that Science must study those situations for which there is not a scientific explanation, but he emphasises that “we can not advance theories that have no scientific basis” and draws attention to “groups that orbit around science, which try to take advantage of it, but which are not truly based on scientific knowledge”.
