Bernardo Sousa-Pinto, a CINTESIS researcher, explained to 90 Segundos de Ciência (90 Seconds of Science) that a correct diagnosis of allergy to penicillins would allow a reduction of 3863 days of hospitalization and a saving of about one and a half million euros per year in Portugal.
The program, under the responsibility of ITQB NOVA, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences – NOVA FCSH, was broadcasted by Antena 1.
