Ana Reis is an integrated member of the research group AgeingC at CINTESIS.
She earned her degree in Psychology from the University Institute of Maia, and her master and doctorate degrees in Health Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP).
Ana Reis is a clinical and health psychologist and a founder member of the Portuguese Society of Clinical Communication in Health Care (SP3CS). She has participated in several community intervention projects, namely as a clinical psychologist and as a trainer. She works as guest assistant professor at the Health School of Santa Maria, but has taught many curricular units in different higher education institutions.
As a researcher, she has participated in different scientific teams and research projects on HIV / AIDS funded with public budget. She is the principal investigator of the research project “Self-efficacy and Burnout in Higher Education Students in the Health Area”, and has several articles published in her main research areas.
